Or, you can browse the supplement catelogue and select any supplements you want! Anyone can create an account and order supplements, even if you never schedule an appointment with me! Always check with your doctor before taking new supplements! I diligently and carefully look through all of the available research on a supplement before I prescribe it, but it's always best to check with a doctor as well!

Important Information About Supplement Safety
How do you know that the supplement you're purchasing is safe? Many people are surprised to learn that the FDA is not required to review supplements for safety or efficacy. If evidence is presented to the FDA that shows a supplement is unsafe, then the FDA can remove it from the market. However, the FDA does not check every new supplement to approve it before it is sold. Because of this, some products could be unsafe due to impurities. Some products can even lie about what's in them on their labels. Yeah, they can really do that! No one would know!

In addition to safety concerns, there could also be efficacy concerns when it comes to buying supplements. Since there is no mandatory regulating body approving supplements before they are sold, labels on products can be misleading about how much of a certain ingredient is in their product. For example, you might buy lemon balm oil to help with your anxiety. Maybe you'd take 1/2 a teaspoon. Unless your lemon balm oil is from a trusted brand, you don't know how much lemon balm you actually consumed. How potent is the oil? Their lemon balm oil could be cut with another oil to dilute the product and save them money. A lot of unreliable supplement brands do this to keep the costs of their products low.
